project overview
This was a freelance project for a makeup artist in Cornwall. Charlotte wanted a logo that encapsulated both her work as a makeup artist and her beauty services, such as brow and lash lifts.

The brief was to create branding that was premium, clean and had a beach feel. I created a primary logo, secondary logos and a submark so she had flexibility depending on what format the logo needed to be used on. I selected backgrounds for social use that had a sand texture, but could also be viewed as makeup, e.g. powders and eyeshadows, so it also worked to represent her as a makeup artist whilst giving that beachy feel.

Around a year later, Charlotte wanted to elevate her business and advertise to a more premium client base, so we tweaked the brand colours to a more neutral palette, to compliment her updated self branding shoot. I attended this shoot and have included some of the content I captured and edited together below also...

content creation

Charlotte asked me to assist with content creation at her personal branding shoot. I captured a range of video and photography clips from the day with a strong focus on aesthetic. Charlotte just wanted the individual clips to edit together herself, but I’ve created some edits (shown above) using caput for use on reels and my own social account.
